Here at SynergyVets, we are extremely lucky to very occasionally benefit from the skills of our qualified Chef, Aaron. His Christmas stuffing is world renowned, a household favourite in every corner of the globe. Being a valued reader of our blog he has decided to share his secret recipe with you;
Christmas Chestnut Stuffing
1 pack of sausage meat
1 finely chopped onion
1 whisked egg
3-4 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
Generous handful of chopped chestnuts
Salt and pepper
Method
Drink some whisky. Simply chuck all of the above ingredients into a bowl and get your (clean) hands in there and mix it all up, it’s not nice but it’s a price you must pay for such a delicious treat. Drink some whisky. Lay out some greaseproof paper, grease it generously with butter, lay the stuffing mix out in a long sausage shape and wrap up in the paper, twisting the ends to tighten it, cook for 25 mins (ish) on gas mark 5. Whisky. Eat it.
