What is the BSAVA Congress 2022?
The BSAVA Congress 2022 aims to bring together the small animal veterinary community to drive innovation and the advancement of science and education.
The event will feature over 20 disciplines, and over 100 exhibitors showcasing their latest products and services and is a great opportunity to engage with your veterinary peers and leading industry representatives.
Areas will include dentistry, orthopaedics, feline medicine, ophthalmology, anaesthesia and more.
When and where is the event?
The British Small Animal Veterinary Association’s (BSVA) 2022 Congress event is taking place in Manchester from the 24th – 26th March this year and it will be a hybrid event so, even if you can’t attend in person, you can also join online, meaning no one has to miss out!
Even if you are attending the event live and don’t know how best to split your time, you can watch any sessions you miss on demand once they have been uploaded to the library and all recordings will be available to attendees (both in-person and virtual) for 60 days from the beginning of the event.
What can you expect at BSAVA Congress 2022?
The event will offer over 135 hours of continuing professional development, and the format in which this will be delivered has been revamped from previous years, with different learning zones set up and a variety of session styles within each module, such as lectures and debates, as well as interactive and practical experiences.
The sessions will feature one or more speakers delivering short presentations and notable cases, with audience participation encouraged in the form of a Q&A and discussion, giving attendees the opportunity to explore various small animal veterinary disciplines and the clinical challenges they face, while also engaging in debate with their peers.
There will be six different learning zones at the event including:
- Interactive Zone
- Experiential Zone
- Debate & Discussion Zone
- Lecture Zone
- Practical Zone

In addition, the exhibition floor will feature:
