My client is a well-established charity veterinary practice serving the local community and are looking for a compassionate and motivated Veterinary Nurse to join their supportive team.

The Role
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, pragmatic veterinary nursing care while supporting responsible pet ownership and providing an excellent client experience.
Your duties will include:
Working collaboratively within the practice team across all nursing areas, including inpatient care, theatre, radiography, nurse clinics, dispensary and Schedule 3 procedures
Delivering efficient, compassionate veterinary care within agreed scope of service and professional guidelines
Supporting preventative healthcare initiatives and client education
Providing empathetic, clear communication with clients, involving them in their pet’s care plans
Maintaining high clinical and hygiene standards throughout the practice
Supporting compliance with clinical governance, health & safety, stock control, and record keeping
Contributing to a positive team culture through mentoring, coaching, and sharing clinical knowledge
Participating in an emergency out-of-hours rota where applicable (frequency agreed locally)
What They’re Looking For
RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
Experience delivering high standards of patient and client care
A pragmatic and compassionate approach to clinical work
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Confident using practice management systems and IT
At least 12 months’ UK experience in small animal practice
