    About the Opportunity

    Our Client is a well‑established, multi‑branch mixed practice serving many areas.  They’re searching for an inspiring, MRCVS registered, Equine & Farm Clinical Director to guide and develop the equine and farm animal team.  This is a rare opportunity to combine hands‑on clinical work with strategic leadership, supported by an experienced practice structure yet with the empowerment to shape the service in a way that reflects your vision.

    Our client is part of a group of practices, giving you access to excellent resources, leadership development and organisational support, while still retaining the independence, autonomy and freedom to lead with confidence and make the decisions that truly matter.

    You will:

    • Lead and mentor a team of 4–5 Equine & Farm vets

    • Drive business development and uphold service quality within the Equine and Farm department

    • Foster a positive, forward‑thinking culture where people can thrive

    • Work closely with the Small Animal Clinical Directors and the Practice Manager for wider practice leadership

    • Enjoy the autonomy to innovate, expand and enhance the services you provide

     

    Our Rota and Support:

    • 1:5 on‑call rota

    • Half‑day every week

    • Monday off after a weekend on‑call

    • Equine stables and stocks at two sites

    • In‑house laboratory

    • Equine ultrasound

    • Respiratory scope
