My client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team in Cornwall.
They are a well-established practice with over 65 years of providing high-quality care to both companion animals and farm species. The team operates across multiple well-equipped sites, all with surgical facilities and benefits from an excellent location close to the coast, countryside and local amenities.
The practice offers a high standard of clinical care, with the ability to work up a wide range of medical and surgical cases in-house. Facilities include dental radiography and they are supported by visiting orthopaedic specialists as well as a certificate holder in diagnostic imaging who performs advanced scans on-site. They actively encourage professional development, with support for certificates and a generous CPD allowance.
The team is sociable and collaborative, consisting of experienced vets, skilled nurses and a strong support team. Regular clinical meetings are held to discuss cases and share knowledge, alongside social activities that help maintain a positive working environment.

There is no out-of-hours emergency work required; however, the practice does retain inpatient care overnight with dedicated nursing support and veterinary backup as needed.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across different sites, although this can be tailored based on preference.
