We are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our busy referral hospital on a locum basis, covering out-of-hours shifts.
Twilight RVN: 4:00 pm – 4:00 am
Night Nurse: 8:00 pm – 8:00 am
The first shifts are currently available from the last week of July, although dates may be flexible as we continue to arrange internal cover.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RVN who enjoys working in a fast-paced referral environment. Our hospital is large and complex, so a full induction will be provided. Previous experience in a referral hospital is highly desirable.
Our permanent out-of-hours team works a 4-on, 8-off rota. Locum shift patterns may vary depending on service requirements and internal staffing.
Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
Previous referral or specialist hospital experience preferred
Confident working independently in an out-of-hours setting
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Reliable, adaptable, and able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
