I’m currently recruiting for a full-time, permanent Veterinary Surgeon in Cardiff, working 37.5 hours per week with a salary of £45,269 – £60,062 including allowances and wanted to see if this could be of interest to you.
It’s a lovely opportunity to join the PDSA team in Cardiff, working alongside an experienced and supportive team with a really varied medical and surgical caseload.
The hospital is modern and well-equipped, with X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases and extensive orthopaedic equipment, as well as separate dog and cat kennels. It’s also within walking distance of Cardiff city centre and has free staff parking.
The rota is Monday–Friday, 7.5-hour shifts between 8am and 8pm, with approximately 1 in 7 weekends. Weekend shifts are 8am–8pm, with TOIL the following week and an OOH uplift. There are no nights on the rota and paid breaks are included.
