    About This Role

    Are you a Veterinary Surgeon looking to make a genuine difference while still developing your clinical skills in a supportive environment?

     

    My client, a well-established charity-based small animal hospital in the West Midlands, is looking for a compassionate and adaptable Vet to join their friendly and collaborative team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a purpose-driven role where every day truly matters.

     

    The Role

    This is a part time role – working 22.5 hours per week.

                                                                                                                                                                                

    This is a varied and rewarding position where no two days are the same. You’ll be working across a broad caseload, including consultations, surgery, medicine, imaging and inpatient care, giving you excellent exposure to a wide range of cases.

     

    You’ll be supported by an experienced team who enjoy sharing knowledge and discussing cases, making this a great environment whether you’re looking to build confidence or continue developing your clinical interests.

     

    This role would suit someone who enjoys a pragmatic, welfare-focused approach to care and is confident discussing realistic treatment options with clients.

     

    About You

    You will:

    • Be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS)

    • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, varied environment

    • Be confident making clinical decisions with a practical approach

    • Have strong communication skills and enjoy building relationships with clients

    • Be a team player who values collaboration and shared learning

     

    The Practice

    You’ll be based in a modern, well-equipped hospital with excellent facilities, including:

    • In-house radiography and ultrasound

    • Endoscopy equipment

    • Separate dog and cat wards

    • Fully equipped theatres and orthopaedic equipment

     

    The team have a wide range of clinical interests, creating a really supportive environment for case discussion and development.
