    Our client is looking for a Farm Veterinary Surgeon to join their experienced and supportive team in the Scottish Borders. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet with farm animal experience who enjoys building strong client relationships and working with progressive livestock enterprises.

    The Role

    You'll primarily work with a well-established client base of progressive beef and sheep farms, delivering both routine preventative healthcare and emergency veterinary services.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Supporting beef and sheep enterprises with routine herd and flock health work.

    • Pregnancy scanning, fertility work and bull testing.

    • Artificial insemination and pelvimetry.

    • Blood sampling and diagnostic investigations.

    • Emergency farm visits.

    • Developing herd and flock health planning with clients.

    • Working with pedigree sheep flocks and commercial sheep enterprises.

    An interest in proactive herd and flock health management is highly desirable.

    Working Pattern
