Are you looking to join a practice with new owners, fresh ideas and exciting plans for growth? My client is offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their expanding team in the West Midlands.
They have recently relocated to a brand-new, purpose-built site which has doubled in size, allowing them to significantly expand their facilities and services. The practice now boasts a CT scanner, a dedicated rehabilitation centre with hydrotherapy and physiotherapy, alongside modern surgical and diagnostic equipment. This is a brilliant opportunity for a vet who enjoys surgery and wants to be more involved in shaping clinical standards within a progressive practice.
They are ideally looking for a full-time vet, however part-time and flexible working options are absolutely open for discussion.
The Role:
Full or part-time considered
1 in 4 Saturdays (9am–12pm)
No OOH, Sundays or Bank Holidays
Opportunity to support the practice owners in guiding and mentoring the wider vet team
Protected time for case follow-ups and admin
Dedicated lunch breaks
My client prides themselves on delivering high standards of patient care within a supportive and collaborative environment. The practice is fully equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory facilities, dedicated surgical and dental suites, and a CT scanner which also attracts external referrals.
Their rehabilitation department includes an underwater treadmill and is supported by an in-house physiotherapist. The wider team includes experienced nurses and approachable management who genuinely encourage open communication and continuous improvement.
They have built a strong reputation within the local community and are proud of the trust their clients place in them. Teamwork is at the heart of the practice – they support each other through busy days, celebrate successes together and foster a genuinely positive working culture.
What’s on Offer:
Competitive salary up to £65,000
Generous CPD allowance with certificates actively encouraged
Paid professional memberships (RCVS, VDS and one additional of your choice)
Support from leadership who value your clinical input
A modern, forward-thinking working environment
Excellent work-life balance
This role would suit a confident Veterinary Surgeon with around 5 years’ experience in consultations and routine surgery, who is looking to join a progressive team where their ideas and development are genuinely supported.
