We are currently working with a growing, independent veterinary group who are opening a brand-new surgery in West London and are now looking to recruit a Head Veterinary Surgeon to lead it from day one.
This is a rare opportunity to take full clinical ownership of a new practice — building your own team, shaping the culture, and influencing how care is delivered from the ground up.

The Role:
4-day week (9-hour shifts)
1 in 4 weekends
Approx. 39 hours per week
Dedicated admin time built into every shift
No out-of-hours
You’ll be responsible for:
Leading and inspiring your clinical team
Setting and maintaining high clinical standards
Delivering excellent first-opinion medicine and surgery
Supporting and developing colleagues
Building strong client and community relationships
Shaping the culture and long-term success of the practice
This is a hands-on leadership role combining clinical work with real influence and responsibility.

Strong all-round GP experience
Confident in a leadership or step-up role
Passionate about high-quality patient care
Enjoys mentoring and developing others
Clear, confident communicator
Motivated to take ownership and build something of your own
