    About This Role

    My client is a well-established, independent small animal practice based in Staffordshire, and they are looking to welcome a compassionate and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and supportive team.

     

    They pride themselves on delivering high-quality, patient-focused care and have built a strong reputation locally for their warm, personal approach. This is a great opportunity for an RVN who enjoys being hands-on, working as part of a close-knit team, and building genuine relationships with clients and patients.

     

    The successful candidate will play a key role within the nursing team, supporting the vets and wider practice staff to deliver excellent clinical care across all areas of the practice.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • They will provide a high standard of nursing care to small animal patients, including inpatient care, theatre work, anaesthesia monitoring and recovery.

    • They will run nurse-led clinics such as weight management, post-operative checks, preventative healthcare and client education.

    • They will assist with diagnostic procedures and treatment plans, ensuring patient welfare and comfort are always prioritised.

    • They will maintain accurate clinical records and work in line with RCVS standards and practice protocols.

    • They will contribute positively to the team environment and support student nurses or nursing assistants where required.

     

    The Ideal Candidate

    • They must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.

    • They will have a caring, proactive approach and enjoy working in a busy general practice environment.

    • They will be a strong team player with good communication skills and a genuine passion for animal welfare.

    • They will be keen to continue developing their skills and grow within a supportive practice.
