Whether you’re an experienced Lead Vet or a confident Veterinary Surgeon ready to explore a leadership role, the practice is open to discussing a career path that works for you.

    The role

    • Salary up to £75,000, depending on experience (FTE)

    • Full or part-time hours considered, with flexibility to support work-life balance

    • One in four Saturday mornings, 9am–12pm

    • No Sundays or out-of-hours work

    • Clinical leadership, maintaining high standards of patient care

    • Mentoring and supporting junior veterinary colleagues

    • A varied caseload encompassing medicine and surgery

A practice where your contribution matters

You’ll be joining an established, standalone practice with a light, spacious environment and modern equipment, including digital X-ray, ultrasound, blood pressure monitoring and in-house laboratory facilities.

The current team includes three vets, three RVNs, an SVN and two receptionists. You’ll work alongside experienced veterinary colleagues, with additional expertise in exotics within the team.

The practice is led locally by an experienced RVN with more than 30 years in animal care and particular interests in wound management, radiography and surgery. The practice owner is approachable, supportive and committed to helping the team deliver excellent care while giving vets the autonomy to make clinical decisions.

There’s also a strong emphasis on team spirit, with regular social activities, and the practice is proud to be recognised as an Autism Friendly Surgery, reflecting its inclusive approach to colleagues and clients.

The practice is keen to support your professional ambitions, whether that means developing your leadership skills, expanding your clinical interests or working towards a certificate.

You’ll have the freedom to practise to a high standard, the support of experienced colleagues and direct access to the owner when decisions need to be made.
