My client is a small animal practice looking to welcome an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to their friendly and supportive team. This full-time role offers a varied caseload across a well-equipped practice, with the opportunity to work between a modern branch site and a highly accredited hospital if desired. Salary on offer is £40,000 – £60,000 DOE, alongside a fantastic working environment where clinical freedom and quality patient care are prioritised.
You would be joining a collaborative team that prides itself on delivering excellent clinical standards in a positive and supportive setting. The role would involve managing and following your own cases through from consultation to diagnosis and treatment where appropriate, while working closely with a team of experienced vets, nurses and support staff. This position would suit a proactive Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys contributing to a strong team culture and providing high levels of patient care.
The practice operates from purpose-built, well-equipped facilities and holds multiple accreditations, including RCVS accreditation and Silver Cat Friendly status. There is a strong emphasis on team wellbeing, collaboration and maintaining a positive working environment, with leadership that remains hands-on within the clinical team.
The practice is also flexible with working arrangements and happy to tailor the role for the right individual wherever possible. They operate their own out-of-hours service, with vets typically participating in either a first-on-call or second-on-call rota, though flexibility can be discussed depending on individual circumstances.
Located in South Wales, the practice benefits from an excellent location with easy access to Cardiff and Swansea, the Brecon Beacons National Park, and the stunning Welsh coastline. Whether you enjoy city life, hiking, watersports or relaxing by the sea, the area offers something for everyone outside of work.
Benefits include:
• Salary £40,000 – £60,000 DOE
• 28 days holiday (6.6 weeks) including Bank Holidays
• RCVS fees and one additional professional membership paid
• Health Shield membership
• Supportive and collaborative team environment
• Well-equipped, accredited practice
• Flexible working arrangements considered
