    About This Role

My client is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team in Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the practice owner, allowing for quick decision-making and ensuring your ideas and clinical opinions are always valued.

The practice offers a flexible approach to working hours, with both full-time and part-time options available. Ideally, they are looking for someone to work Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, however they are open to discussion to suit the right candidate. The role includes just 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9am–12pm), with no Sundays or out-of-hours requirements.

You will be joining a well-equipped surgery with access to modern facilities including digital x-ray, ultrasound, blood pressure monitoring, and an in-house laboratory. The team includes experienced vets who are happy to support development, alongside a colleague with a special interest in exotics.

The practice owner is highly experienced and actively supports continuous professional development, including certificates, making this an excellent environment for someone looking to expand their clinical skills in both medicine and surgery.

The team is close-knit and supportive, with a strong focus on collaboration and regular social events. The practice is also proud to be recognised as an Autism Friendly Surgery, reflecting their inclusive approach to both colleagues and clients.

    The Role:
They are ideally looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is confident in both medicine and routine surgical procedures. Flexibility is key, and they are happy to tailor the role to support a healthy work-life balance.

    What’s on offer:

    • Salary up to £60,000 FTE depending on experience

    • Flexible working options (full or part time)

    • No Sundays or out-of-hours

    • Paid professional memberships (RCVS, VDS)

    • Contributory pension scheme

    • Support for CPD and certificates

    • Access to exclusive company discounts and rewards

    • Excellent career development opportunities within a varied caseload

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a practice where your voice is heard, your development is supported, and your work-life balance is genuinely prioritised.
