A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and sociable team at a well-established practice in the heart of Devon. This is a truly mixed role offering excellent variety, a supportive team environment and a strong focus on work-life balance.
The practice prides itself on its collaborative culture, where vets are encouraged to develop their interests and build their careers in a way that suits them. Located in beautiful Devon, the role offers easy access to countryside, coastline and city life.
The Role:
This is a full-time or part-time permanent position, with a typical working pattern of 4 days per week between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
The practice provides its own out-of-hours service, with a 1 in 8 OOH rota. You will be supported by RVNs where needed, and benefit from a long weekend following any weekend on call, ensuring a fair and balanced approach to OOH commitments.
The Caseload:
This is a genuinely mixed caseload, including small animal, farm and equine work. While there is a strong small animal caseload, the practice is particularly keen to hear from candidates interested in developing the farm and equine side of the business.
You’ll have the flexibility and support to shape your role around your clinical interests, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to grow and diversify their skillset.
What’s on Offer:
Salary up to £60,000 (depending on experience and skills)
6.6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays
£1,750 CPD allowance, with certificates encouraged and funded
