An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Night Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established 24-hour veterinary hospital in Stockport, Cheshire.
This is an ideal opportunity for a confident vet who enjoys emergency and critical care, thrives in a varied caseload, and is looking for an excellent work-life balance with a 7 nights on, 14 nights off rota.
This is a sole charge position, so previous experience is essential. You'll be responsible for caring for hospital inpatients overnight while also seeing out-of-hours emergency and critical care cases.
Working as part of the dedicated night team, you'll be fully supported by experienced veterinary nurses throughout every shift.
The rota consists of:
7 consecutive night shifts
14 consecutive nights off
A varied mix of inpatient care and emergency consultations
Sole charge with experienced nursing support
You'll be joining a progressive seven-branch veterinary group with its own 24-hour hospital, dedicated out-of-hours service, and multidisciplinary certificate-led referral team.

CT scanner
Doppler echocardiography
Flexible and rigid endoscopy
