My client is a family-run, 24/7 RCVS-accredited small animal hospital in West Yorkshire that is looking for an experienced OOH ECC Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated night team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a progressive hospital environment with a complex and varied caseload, alongside a large, supportive clinical team.
The Role:
They are offering a 7 nights on, 14 nights off rota, providing an excellent work-life balance while maintaining exposure to advanced emergency and critical care cases. The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated night team, supported by experienced RVNs, VCAs and twilight nursing cover.
The Practice:
This is a modern, purpose-built 24-hour hospital with state-of-the-art facilities, including in-house Idexx laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound, ECG, dental suite with dental x-ray, orthopaedic surgical kit, endoscopy and advanced imaging and monitoring equipment. The hospital supports multiple referring practices and manages a busy first-opinion caseload, allowing for both advanced case workups and continuity of care.
What They Offer:
Salary of £55,000 – £60,000 DOE
7 nights on / 14 nights off rota

The Ideal Candidate:
RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon with solid medical and surgical skills
Experience in ECC is essential
Confident, proactive and comfortable managing complex emergency cases
A strong team player with excellent communication and client care skills
Keen to develop clinically with supported CPD and training opportunities
