Our client is looking for an experienced Out of Hours Veterinary Surgeon to join their emergency hospital team in Cardiff.
This is an excellent opportunity for a vet who enjoys working in a busy emergency setting and is confident managing urgent and critical cases. You’ll be providing high-quality emergency care while supporting pets and their owners when they need it most.
The successful candidate will:
Be MRCVS registered
Have experience providing high-quality emergency patient and client care
Be confident assessing and managing emergency and critical care cases independently
Have strong clinical decision-making skills
Remain calm and confident in a fast-paced environment
Be comfortable using clinical systems
Have experience using ultrasound, radiography and multiparameter monitoring equipment
33.41 hours per week on average
Week 1: Monday–Sunday, 7:45pm–8:15am, awake shifts
Week 2: Off
Week 3: Off
5 days CPD allowance
£1,000 annual CPD budget
Full RCVS fees paid, where applicable
