    About This Role

    My client is seeking a part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive small animal practice in Wales. This is a great opportunity for a vet looking for a flexible role within a well-equipped practice that prioritises both clinical standards and work-life balance.

     

    They are an established practice with a strong and loyal client base, allowing for thorough case work-ups supported by well-managed diaries and 15-minute consultations. The practice is RCVS accredited and places a strong emphasis on sustainability and environmental responsibility, alongside delivering high-quality patient care.

     

    The team is close-knit and collaborative, consisting of Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, student nurses and a dedicated support team. They have created a positive working environment and enjoy socialising together outside of work.

     

    The Role:

    • Part-time position working 20–30 hours per week (flexible for the right candidate)

    • Participation in a shared Saturday morning rota

    • A varied role including both consultations and surgical duties

    • No out-of-hours requirements

     

    About You:
    They’re looking for a qualified and registered Veterinary Surgeon who is confident managing a general small animal caseload and enjoys working as part of a supportive team. You will have excellent communication skills and a professional, positive approach, with a genuine passion for delivering high standards of patient care. They are seeking someone who values collaboration, is proactive in their work and is keen to contribute to a friendly and forward-thinking practice environment.

    • Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 per annum (pro rata)
