    About This Role

    Our client is seeking two experienced Veterinary Surgeons to join their thriving 24-hour veterinary hospital in West Yorkshire.

    These positions offer flexibility, a diverse caseload, and the opportunity to work within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team supporting both first opinion and emergency care services.

    Position 1 – Veterinary Surgeon

    21 hours per week

    The role includes:

    • One weekday consulting shift (Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday)

    • 8.5-hour consulting shift with 30-minute appointments

    • Friday surgery or inpatient hospital shift

    • 1 in 4 weekends working within the hospital team managing ECC, inpatients and emergency procedures

    Position 2 – Consult-Only Veterinary Surgeon

    22 hours per week

    The role includes:

    • Two consulting shifts per week (Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday)

    • 30-minute consultations as standard

    • Consult-only position

    • 1 in 4 weekends supporting emergency consultations and inpatient care alongside a full clinical team

    Additional Opportunities

    There is scope to develop dedicated referral clinics, supported by a strong referral network from multiple surrounding practices.

    The practice is also happy to consider candidates wishing to combine this role with ongoing locum commitments.

    Our client is an RCVS-accredited 24-hour veterinary hospital and Emergency Clinic supporting a large network of surrounding practices.

    The hospital employs over 70 colleagues and offers access to advanced diagnostic and surgical facilities including:

    • Video endoscopy
