    • Consultations, surgery, ambulatory work and general mixed practice duties
    • Working alongside an experienced and supportive clinical team
    • Building strong, long-term client relationships with continuity of care
    • 10-minute consultations supported by an excellent nursing team

    What we are looking for:
    • A Veterinary Surgeon with 7+ years’ experience
    • Confidence and enjoyment in mixed practice
    • A collaborative team player with good communication skills
    • Full UK driving licence and ability to drive a manual vehicle
    • A positive attitude and down-to-earth approach

    What’s on offer:
    • Salary from £65,000+, dependent on experience
    • Monthly profit share scheme after probation
    • Birthday leave
    • Discounted pet care
    • 6+ weeks annual leave rising to 8 weeks with service
    • Salary review at 12 months and annually thereafter
    • BUPA healthcare
    • Workplace pension
    • Generous CPD allowance and funded development
    • RCVS and VDS fees paid
    • Full sick pay after qualifying period

    Rota:
    • Full-time or part-time considered (minimum 3 days per week)
    • 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
    • Shared bank holiday cover
    • Small contribution to 1 in 6 weekend on-call rota
    • Time off in lieu after weekend on-call (long weekend provided)
    • Never on-call alone, with shared weekend support across a team of vets

    Why join:
As an independent practice, we are able to remain flexible, supportive and genuinely people-focused. You will be joining a wider network of practices across the North East, offering both collaboration and a strong sense of team identity while still maintaining a close-knit working environment.
