Our client in East Sussex is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their 24-hour hospital on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover), starting June 2026.

Role Details
• 12-month fixed term contract (maternity cover)
• Start date: June 2026
• Full-time – 37.5 hours per week
• Monday to Friday only
• No weekends
• No on-call
• Salary £30,000–£32,000 DOE
The Role
You will be working within a busy hospital environment managing a varied caseload, including emergency and advanced medical cases referred internally and externally.
Duties include:
• Inpatient and ward nursing
• Monitoring medical and surgical cases
• Supporting advanced diagnostics and procedures
• Working closely with certificate holders and referral clinicians
• Maintaining high clinical standards within a multidisciplinary team

About You
• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse
• Previous hospital experience preferred
• Confident managing medical and surgical cases
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Calm under pressure and able to prioritise effectively
• Committed to high standards of patient care and professional development
