We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established veterinary practice in the Hertford area looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their close-knit team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN who enjoys delivering outstanding patient care while working in a supportive environment where professional development and work-life balance are genuinely valued.
You'll play a key role across all aspects of the practice, including:
Providing high-quality nursing care to patients.
Assisting with anaesthesia and surgical procedures.
Running nurse consultations and client education clinics.
Supporting inpatient care and laboratory work.
Working closely with the wider veterinary team to deliver exceptional standards of care.
The successful candidate will:
Be a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).
Be confident across all areas of veterinary nursing, including anaesthesia.
Enjoy building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Have a positive, organised and compassionate approach.
Be committed to ongoing professional development.
Flexible full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
No out-of-hours work.
No Sunday working.
1 in 3 Saturdays (9:00am-1:00pm), with time off in lieu or additional pay.
Weekday shifts between 8:45am and 7:15pm.
Salary up to £30,000, depending on experience.
Paid RCVS and VDS memberships.
