    About This Role

    Are you looking for a varied nursing role where you can make the most of your skills in a busy hospital environment?

    Our client is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their RCVS accredited veterinary hospital in Cheshire. This opportunity is available as either a permanent position or a 12 month fixed term contract, making it ideal for nurses looking for flexibility as well as long term career progression.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive and experienced team, working alongside skilled veterinary surgeons, nurses and support staff. You will enjoy a diverse caseload, with responsibilities including theatre nursing, patient preparation, inpatient care and anaesthesia, while also gaining exposure to more advanced medical, surgical, emergency and critical care cases.

    The hospital is equipped with excellent facilities including CT, ultrasound, digital radiography, laparoscopy and a fully equipped in house laboratory, giving you every opportunity to develop your clinical skills.

    The role

    • Full time, 37.5 hours per week

    • Shifts between 7.00 am and 8.30 pm

    • One in four weekends with time off in lieu the following week

    • Two bank holidays per year

    • Occasional twilight and late kennel shifts

    Salary and benefits

    • Salary from £25,643 to £31,180 depending on experience

    • Six weeks holiday including bank holidays
