    About This Role

My client, a well-established charity veterinary practice in Kent, is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team.

    Salary: £58,317 - £65,617 (DOE & allowances)
Full Time | Permanent | 40 hours per week

This is a really rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference every day, working with clients who truly rely on accessible veterinary care. You’ll see a varied and interesting caseload, giving you the chance to utilise and develop both your medical and surgical skills in a meaningful way.

The role would suit a vet who enjoys variety and is confident managing a diverse caseload. You’ll be comfortable discussing pragmatic treatment options, balancing gold-standard care with each client’s individual circumstances, and always keeping patient welfare at the heart of your decisions.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and experienced team who are big on case discussion and supporting one another. They’re a genuinely friendly group who value teamwork, shared learning and creating a positive working environment.

The practice itself is modern and well-equipped, with facilities including digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, separate dog and cat wards, and full surgical equipment including orthopaedics.

They’re keen to speak with a qualified Veterinary Surgeon who is adaptable, compassionate and enjoys working as part of a team. Strong communication skills are key, as is a proactive and pragmatic approach to clinical work.

    What’s on offer:
They offer a fantastic benefits package alongside a supportive culture, including:

    • 25 days holiday + bank holidays (with option to buy/sell extra)

    • CPD allowance (5 days + £1,000) with additional internal CPD opportunities

    • Paid RCVS fees

    • Flexible working options

    • Enhanced parental leave

    • Generous pension contribution (up to 10%)

    • Private healthcare and wellbeing support

    • Life assurance (4x salary)

    • Staff discounts and additional perks platform

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to do genuinely meaningful work, within a supportive team environment, while continuing to grow clinically.
