My client is looking for an experienced, professional and passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and supportive small animal practice in Cheshire on a full or part-time basis, offering a salary from £30,000 FTE depending on experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking and well-established team at an exciting time of growth. They are able to offer flexibility around the role and rota where possible, helping to support a healthy work-life balance. There is no out-of-hours requirement and weekends are currently 1 in 2 Saturday mornings, with plans to move to 1 in 3 in 2026. Their structured diary and protected lunch breaks allow time to complete clinical tasks thoroughly, creating a calmer working environment and helping the team to finish on time.
The practice is based in Cheshire, benefiting from excellent transport links and easy access to surrounding towns and cities, while also being close to countryside and green space. Their team is well established and supportive, made up of experienced vets, RVNs, student nurses and reception staff, all led by a dedicated practice manager. They see a varied caseload, with a high proportion of insured and proactive clients, allowing for a high standard of clinical work and continuity of care.
They are able to offer a varied role that can be tailored to the individual, including a mix of nurse consultations, inpatient care and theatre work such as anaesthetic monitoring and surgical assistance. There is a strong focus on utilising nurses fully within their skill set, with opportunities to develop areas of particular interest.
They are looking for a confident and enthusiastic RVN with at least three years post-qualification experience who enjoys working as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team. The ideal candidate will value building strong client relationships and take pride in delivering high standards of patient care, while feeling comfortable supporting both medical and surgical cases.
