Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 depending on experience

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join an independent small animal practice in Wiltshire.

This is a practice that really values its nursing team and wants its RVNs to make full use of their skills and knowledge, rather than simply assisting the vets. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be genuinely involved in patient care, develop their clinical skills and play an important role within the wider team.

The RVN will be joining an experienced and friendly nursing team made up of 5 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 2 degree students, working alongside the veterinary and support teams. The practice has a varied caseload and a modern working environment, with a real focus on providing high standards of patient and client care.

They’re looking for an enthusiastic RVN who enjoys nursing, takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a team where their ideas and contribution are valued.

The role offers:

• 40 hours per week over 4 days

• Shift pattern covering 8am – 7.30pm

• No out-of-hours

• Currently 1 in 6 Saturdays

• 19 days’ holiday based on a 4-day working week, plus Bank Holidays

• Paid CPD allowance

• RCVS and BVNA membership
