The role:
Salary of £40,000–£60,000, depending on experience
Varied caseload across consulting, surgery and inpatient care
Seven nights on call per rota, followed by seven days’ recovery
Weekend morning commitment across an 11-week rota
Support and mentoring for developing vets
RVN and SVN support on site 24/7 during on-call periods
Senior clinical support available for complex cases

An experienced Veterinary Surgeon with confident clinical decision-making skills
Someone who enjoys supporting colleagues and developing clinical skills within the team
A strong communicator who values teamwork and shared learning
Must live within 15 minutes of the hospital when on call or be able to stay in the on-site practice flat
