Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and collaborative team at PDSA Derby.

You’ll work with a varied caseload, including more complex medical and surgical cases, while helping to shape clinical standards and support the development of the wider team.
As a Senior Veterinary Surgeon, you will:
Take the clinical lead on cases and provide support to colleagues.
Manage a varied medical and surgical caseload.
Offer second opinions and guidance to the veterinary team.
Discuss evidence-based treatment options with clients.
Support mentoring, coaching, and development of colleagues.
Help embed high clinical standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical confidence, excellent communication skills, and a calm, practical approach to decision-making.

Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £67,530 – £80,000 (including allowances)
