    About This Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and forward-thinking team based in Renfrewshire.

This is a well-established group practice that is continuing to grow, with ongoing investment in facilities, clinical services and most importantly, the team. They offer a supportive environment where Vets are genuinely valued and encouraged to develop their interests.

This is a full-time position, typically worked across 4 days between 08:30 and 19:00, with a 1 in 4 weekend rota (Saturday 08:30–15:00, Sunday 09:30–13:00). The team is very open to flexible working requests, so they are happy to discuss what works best for you.

The practice offers a varied caseload and is continuing to expand its clinical services, including:

    • Ophthalmology referrals

    • Acupuncture

    • Laparoscopic surgery

    • Weekly sonographer clinics

    • Monthly cardiology clinics

They are also investing heavily in their sites, including:

    • Full refurbishment of one surgery, featuring new theatres, dedicated dental and x-ray suites, expanded lab space and separate cat waiting areas

    • Ongoing upgrades in the second branch, including refurbished wards, kennels, cattery and isolation facilities

The team prides itself on being supportive, down-to-earth and genuinely enjoyable to be part of. They take their work seriously but make time for each other too, with things like:

    • Wellness Wednesdays (tea, cake and activities)

    • Regular team socials (including an annual curling night)

    • Christmas celebrations

Based in Renfrewshire, this role offers the best of both worlds - easy access to Glasgow city life, as well as the coast and Loch Lomond for downtime.

    What’s on Offer

    • Salary: Up to £70,000 DOE

    • 6.6 weeks holiday including bank holidays

    • Flexible working options

    • Generous CPD allowance with access to learning and development resources

    • RCVS membership paid plus two additional memberships

    • VDS cover

    • Enhanced family leave policies

    • Health & wellbeing cash plan

    • Cycle to work scheme

    • Discounted veterinary fees and retail discounts

This is a great opportunity for a Vet looking to join a progressive practice where they can develop clinically while being part of a genuinely supportive team.
