Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Cardiff Region Ref:SV0388

My client is a well-equipped, independently owned small animal practice located in Cardiff. They are looking to welcome a Veterinary Surgeon to their friendly and supportive team.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours across a 4-day week, with a fair share of weekends. There are no night shifts, as the practice benefits from a dedicated out-of-hours team.

The role offers a varied caseload including:

• First opinion small animal consultations

• Routine and non-routine surgery

• Medical case management

• Emergency cases during normal working hours

• Working as part of a supportive and experienced clinical team

The practice is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who:

• Is RCVS registered (MRCVS)

• Is confident in routine small animal medicine and surgery

• Is comfortable managing emergency cases, or keen to develop their confidence

• Enjoys working as part of a team and contributing to a positive practice culture
