My client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and progressive team at a well-established practice in Cheshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident vet looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive, well-equipped, and forward-thinking environment.
This is a full-time position working a 4-day week, offering an excellent work-life balance.
Key aspects of the role include:
First opinion consultations and surgeries
Some sole charge, requiring confidence and solid clinical experience
Weekend rota with time off in lieu
Occasional late evening shifts (5pm–11pm), fully supported by an in-house 24-hour team
No on-call requirements
This role is ideal for a vet with at least 2 years’ experience who is comfortable working independently while still enjoying the support of a larger team.
My client operates a busy, multi-branch veterinary group with access to a Tier 3 hospital and an in-house referral team, meaning patients receive seamless, high-quality care without the need for external referrals.

CT scanner and visiting MRI
Doppler echocardiography
Flexible and rigid endoscopy
Digital and dental radiography

This provides an excellent environment for vets looking to develop their clinical skills and pursue areas of special interest.
My client is looking for a veterinary surgeon who:
Has a minimum of 2 years’ UK experience
Is confident with routine procedures and occasional sole charge
Communicates effectively with both clients and colleagues
Is motivated, team-oriented, and committed to high clinical standards
