A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established and highly regarded practice in beautiful Cornwall on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
The Practice
The client is a long-standing, RCVS-accredited practice with over 65 years of experience delivering outstanding care. They operate across multiple sites, with a strong small animal caseload and excellent facilities to fully work up both medical and surgical cases. They also maintain close relationships with local referral centres.
Their team consists of experienced veterinary surgeons, including certificate holders, supported by a highly skilled nursing and support team. They pride themselves on a genuinely supportive, collaborative environment where everyone’s contribution is valued.
The Role
This is a full-time position starting from approximately May 2026, working a 4.5-day week with a shared Saturday rota.
12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover)
Must include working Fridays
Mix of branch work across Cornwall (locations negotiable)
Participation in a Saturday rota
Occasional inpatient OOH care
The role will involve all aspects of small animal veterinary work, with a strong focus on delivering excellent patient and client care.
