    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a progressive and supportive veterinary team in Stockport, Cheshire.

    This first opinion role is ideal for a Veterinary Surgeon looking to work within a well-equipped practice that offers an excellent work-life balance, outstanding clinical support, and genuine opportunities for career progression.

    The Role

    • Full-time position

    • Average 4-day working week

    • Weekend rota with time off in lieu

    • No on-call duties

    • Primarily first opinion caseload

    • Some sole charge responsibilities, so applicants should have at least 2 years' experience

    • Occasional late evening shifts (5:00pm–11:00pm) as part of the rota within the practice's own 24-hour hospital

    You'll enjoy a varied caseload while working alongside an experienced team committed to delivering the highest standards of patient care.

    About the Practice

    This established seven-branch veterinary group is dedicated to providing gold-standard care through a collaborative approach, supported by its own Tier 3 hospital, in-house out-of-hours service, and multidisciplinary certificate-led referral team.

    The practice is exceptionally well equipped, offering access to advanced facilities including:

    • CT scanner

    • Visiting MRI scanner

    • Doppler echocardiography

    • Flexible and rigid endoscopy

    • Digital radiography

    • Ultrasound

    • Dental radiography

    • Laparoscopy

    • Fluoroscopy
