We're looking for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, supportive, and well-established practice. Permanent position
30–37 hours per week
Four-day working week
1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9:00am–2:00pm)
No out-of-hours or bank holiday work
Salary up to £75,000 FTE, depending on experience
You'll be joining a collaborative team of experienced vets, RVNs, receptionists, and dedicated support staff. The practice promotes a positive, psychologically safe working environment where everyone is encouraged to contribute and develop.
A balance of consultations and surgical procedures
Occasional sole-charge shifts
Supporting and mentoring veterinary students during placements
Delivering high standards of patient and client care
Managing and working up your own cases with excellent clinical freedom
We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who is:
Experienced and confident in small animal general practice
RCVS registered
Comfortable with both consulting and surgery
Happy with occasional sole charge
Friendly, approachable, and a strong team player
