    About This Role

     

    A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, well-established practice in Worcestershire. This 100% small animal, RCVS PSS accredited practice is known for its strong team culture and supportive working environment, making it an enjoyable and rewarding place to work.

     

    The practice is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys a varied caseload and thrives as part of a collaborative, close-knit team.

     

    The team currently consists of 4 FTE Vets, 6 RVNs, 4 Receptionists and a Practice Manager, all working together to maintain high standards of patient and client care.

     

    The Role:
    This is a permanent position offering flexibility, with both full-time and part-time applications considered (30–37 hours per week). The rota consists of 3 or 4 days per week, along with a 1 in 4 Saturday rota (9:00am – 2:00pm). There are no out-of-hours or bank holiday requirements, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • A mix of consultations and surgical procedures

    • Some sole charge responsibilities

    • Supporting and mentoring veterinary students

    • Delivering high standards of clinical care

     

    The role offers excellent clinical freedom, allowing you to work up cases with the support of a friendly and experienced team.

    The Ideal Candidate:

    • Experienced and confident in general practice

    • Comfortable with a mix of consults, surgery and occasional sole charge

    • Friendly, team-oriented, and supportive

    • RCVS registered
