Lacey is working with a Small Animal practice in Surrey, who are currently looking to recruit either a Long term Locum Vet, or Permanent Vet for their Independent friendly clinic from 2nd March onwards.
They are currently quite a quiet practice and seeking someone ambitious who is a good all rounder/GP Vet with a welcoming personality and excellent client and Patient skills to provide an efficient services to their loyal client base.
A proficiency in ultrasound scanning would be advantageous as they have a decent machine on site that they would like to utilise. Although you would not need to be an expert in this area, as they have a mobile specialist that can be called upon for more complex scans etc, but having some knowledge for minor issues/pregnancy scans etc would be useful.
This would be a sole charge position, but fully supported by an experienced and friendly support team of long standing Nurses and receptionists.
The position is part time, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9am to 6pm. Plus Saturday morning consults (9am-12pm) on a flexible rota (1;2 would be ideal, but this is open for discussion). There are absolutely no OOHs or other weekend duties to consider though.
They remain a popular practice in their area, with many loyal, local clients, and are nicely situated in a very built-up residential area.
They are open to Locum and Permanent applicants, or those wishing to start as a locum with a view to becoming more permanent if suits.
Daily Rates/Salary offer to reflect experience, and flexible payment options (for Locums) are available.
