About the Role
This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, including one Saturday in three, with time off in lieu. There is no out-of-hours work, and we place a strong emphasis on maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Part-time applications will also be considered for the right candidate.
We are looking for an RVN who is confident, enthusiastic and able to lead by example. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with a genuine desire to support colleagues and contribute to the continued development of the practice.
Previous experience as a Clinical Coach would be advantageous, although we are equally happy to support an experienced RVN who would like to develop in this area.
Your Responsibilities
The role will be varied and hands-on, including:
Providing clinical coaching and support to student veterinary nurses
Running nurse-led clinics, including weight management, diabetic and behavioural clinics
Carrying out Schedule 3 procedures, including dental scale and polish
Performing routine procedures such as second vaccinations and post-operative checks
Supporting the wider nursing team with day-to-day clinical development
Helping to develop and improve nursing services within the practice
Playing an active role in the continued growth and development of the practice
