About the Practice
We are a small, supportive team where every member plays an important role. Our RVNs are at the heart of the practice and are actively involved in all aspects of clinical care, including anaesthesia, inpatient care, nurse consultations, laboratory work and theatre.
We believe in trust, autonomy and professional development, giving our nurses the opportunity to shape their role around their individual strengths, interests and career ambitions, while having the support of an experienced and caring team.
Our purpose-built practice provides a calm and welcoming environment for both clients and colleagues.
The practice is well equipped with:
Separate cat and dog wards
Isolation unit
Sterile theatre
Digital X-ray
Ultrasound
In-house laboratory and microscope
Capnography and pulse oximetry
We have a loyal and engaged client base and prioritise giving our team the time they need to deliver high-quality patient care.
Non-routine consultations are 30 minutes, and we regularly work alongside visiting specialists in areas including cardiology, diagnostic imaging and orthopaedics, providing excellent opportunities for learning and professional development.
About You
We are looking for a qualified RVN who enjoys working as part of a supportive team and takes pride in delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care.
You’ll bring a positive and proactive approach and enjoy being involved across all aspects of practice life.
Ideally, you will:
Be confident across all areas of veterinary nursing, including anaesthesia
Enjoy running nurse clinics and supporting clients through education
Be keen to continue developing through CPD and further qualifications
Be organised, compassionate and a genuine team player
Have a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to the wider practice
The role offers:
No out-of-hours
No Sundays
1 in 3 Saturdays, 9am–1pm, with time off in lieu or additional pay
What We Offer
Salary up to £30,000, depending on experience
£1,000 welcome bonus, paid at 3 and 6 months
RCVS and VDS fees paid
