    About the Role

    We are looking for a Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team.

    You’ll enjoy the variety and challenge of working in a busy hospital environment, where no two days are the same. You’ll be confident communicating with a wide range of colleagues and clients and enjoy sharing your knowledge, supporting others and leading by example.

    The role offers the opportunity to get involved across the hospital, including:

    • Nurse consultations

    • Inpatient care

    • Dispensing medications

    • Theatre support

    • Schedule 3 procedures

    • Providing high standards of nursing care throughout the patient journey

    You’ll take pride in keeping patients comfortable and calm while ensuring owners are kept informed and supported.

    Your passion for animal welfare will also enable you to champion the charity, encourage client contributions and identify opportunities to improve how resources are used.

    About the Hospital

    Our Pet Hospitals provide a collaborative environment where teamwork, case discussion and shared learning are encouraged.

    You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues with a wide range of clinical interests, giving you access to a wealth of knowledge and experience when discussing cases and treatment plans.

    Our modern, well-equipped hospitals include:

    • Separate dog and cat kennelling facilities

    • In-house radiography

    • Ultrasound

    • Endoscopy

    • Piped gases

    • Extensive orthopaedic equipment

    About You

    We’re looking for an RVN who:

    • Is fully qualified and registered with the RCVS

    • Enjoys working in a busy and varied clinical environment

    • Is confident across all aspects of veterinary nursing

    • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Enjoys supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge

    • Takes pride in delivering high standards of patient care

    • Is adaptable and comfortable working with a varied caseload

    • Has a genuine passion for animal welfare

    • Works well as part of a close-knit team

    • Is committed to continuous professional development
