Vet role at independent practice in Sussex Ref:SV0411

My client is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing independent practice across branches in East and West Sussex, based along the coast. 🌊

This is a lovely opportunity for a GP vet who enjoys both consulting and surgery, and is looking to build strong, long-term relationships with clients and patients in a genuinely supportive environment.

The practice has an excellent reputation locally and has grown into a multi award-winning, RCVS-accredited group. They pride themselves on their “one pet, one vet” approach, allowing for real continuity of care and giving vets the autonomy to make the best decisions without the pressure of targets.

You’ll be joining a close-knit and experienced team, with a great mix of vets, nurses and support staff, many of whom have been with the practice for years.

The role:
This is a first opinion GP role working across well-equipped sites, seeing a varied caseload of cats, dogs and small furries. You’ll be involved in both consults and routine/non-routine surgery and dentistry.

Flexible working is available, with both full-time and part-time options considered.

• 1 late evening per week (until 6:30pm)

• 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (until 12:30pm)

• No out-of-hours

• Overtime paid if you ever run over (rare!)

The practice:
You’ll have access to excellent facilities including digital x-ray (including dental), ultrasound, in-house lab (including Imagyst), modern theatres and well-equipped prep areas.

The clinics are based in lovely coastal locations, so yes… beach walks on your lunch break are genuinely a thing here ☀️

What’s on offer:

• Salary £45,000 – £68,000 depending on experience

• 5 weeks holiday + bank holidays
