Vet Surgeon – Cardiff – Up to £60,000
We offer an extensive range of surgical procedures in-house, giving you plenty of opportunities to gain hands-on experience in emergency and more complex surgery. You'll enjoy a varied and interesting caseload spanning soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, dentistry, ophthalmology, dermatology and medicine, with plenty of scope to develop your clinical skills and confidence.
Your development is supported through formal annual skills reviews, giving you a clear pathway for clinical development, career progression and salary progression as your experience and expertise grow.
About you
We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys variety in their day, balancing consultations and surgery while managing a diverse caseload. You'll be passionate about delivering excellent clinical care and making a genuine difference to pets and owners who rely on our support.
To be successful, you'll have:
MRCVS registration.
Experience delivering high standards of patient and client care.
A pragmatic, welfare-focused approach to clinical decision-making.
The confidence to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Good IT skills and confidence using clinical systems.
Ideally, at least 12 months' UK small animal practice experience.
