This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy, modern small animal practice where you’ll be part of a friendly and highly supportive clinical team.
You’ll have the opportunity to manage a broad range of medical and surgical cases, with plenty of variety throughout your working week. An interest in orthopaedics would be an advantage, but it’s certainly not essential.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, on a rota basis.
You’ll ideally be confident managing routine medical and surgical cases and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.

There are no OOH and no sole-charge requirements.

Digital X-ray
In-house laboratory
Ultrasound
Multiparameter monitoring
Laser equipment
Surgical suction equipment
Exotic-specific equipment
Access to a qualified veterinary physiotherapist
Home visits using a dedicated practice vehicle
There is a varied caseload, including exotic cases, with CPD support available if this is an area you’d like to develop.
The team also has additional clinical interests, including soft tissue surgery, creating a great environment for sharing knowledge and developing your own skills.
Salary from £50,000+, depending on experience
Annual salary reviews
£1,500 CPD allowance
CPD actively encouraged and supported
RCVS and VDS fees paid
No OOH
No sole charge
4.6 weeks' annual leave, increasing to 5.6 weeks after 2 years
