An exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon
We are a 24-hour RCVS-accredited small animal hospital offering a varied and advanced clinical environment, with an experienced multidisciplinary team and excellent facilities.
Our large veterinary team includes clinicians with interests and qualifications across surgery, exotics and medicine, with further certificate-level development in areas including surgery, orthopaedics, cardiology and medicine.
Our highly skilled nursing team includes Schedule 3 and imaging-trained professionals, alongside colleagues with postgraduate qualifications. The wider team also includes dedicated hydrotherapy, physiotherapy and client care professionals.

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking an experienced all-round Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys working in a busy, progressive environment and is committed to delivering high standards of clinical care.
Ideally, you will:
Have previous experience working within a UK veterinary practice
Have a good understanding of UK veterinary regulations and client care
Be confident managing a varied small animal caseload
Demonstrate strong clinical and communication skills
Be committed to continued professional development
Enjoy working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
We are also open to considering Veterinary Surgeons with a particular exotic or ophthalmology bias, so we would be pleased to hear from candidates looking to develop these areas of interest.
The Role & Work-Life Balance
We understand the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance and have designed the role with flexibility in mind.
The position offers:
Part-time working of 2–3 days per week
1 in 4 weekends
No out-of-hours duties
A minimal on-call commitment of approximately 3–4 times per year
