    Our client, a well-established independent veterinary practice in the Brighton area, is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a confident GP Veterinary Surgeon looking to build lasting relationships with clients while enjoying a healthy work-life balance. The successful candidate will take sole charge of a thriving branch practice, managing a varied first-opinion caseload with a balance of consultations, routine surgery and dentistry.

    The practice is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with around 2–3 years of experience who is confident with routine and non-routine surgical and dental procedures. You will be supported by an experienced team and encouraged to develop your clinical interests, with funded CPD and certificate support available.

    What's on Offer

    • Salary of £51,000–£68,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications

    The Role

    • First-opinion GP caseload involving cats, dogs and small furries

    • Mixture of consultations, surgery and dentistry

    • Sole charge within a well-established branch practice

    • One evening clinic per week (until 6:30pm)

    • One in three Saturday mornings (until 12:30pm)

    • Fixed day off during the week

    • No out-of-hours work

    About You

    • RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon

    • Around 2–3 years' UK small animal experience

    • Confident in routine consultations, surgery and dentistry

    • Excellent communication and client care skills

    • Passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and building long-term client relationships
