About the Practice
An independent-minded, team-focused small animal practice in Derbyshire is looking to welcome an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to its friendly and supportive team.
This is a practice that genuinely prioritises clinical standards, teamwork and wellbeing. With a collaborative culture, protected breaks and the flexibility to work in a way that suits both you and the practice, you'll have the opportunity to deliver excellent patient care without unnecessary pressure.
You'll also play an important role in mentoring a recent graduate Veterinary Surgeon as they progress through the Graduate Development Programme (GDP), making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting and developing others.
The Role
Salary from £65,000, depending on experience

No out-of-hours commitments
The Practice
You'll be joining a close-knit team where collaboration comes first and everyone works together to provide exceptional patient care.
The clinical team is supported by experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses who fully utilise their nursing skills, alongside a knowledgeable support team that keeps the practice running smoothly.
Facilities include:
Dedicated operating theatre
Spacious preparation area
Separate dog kennels and cattery
Digital radiography
Ultrasound
Tonopen
Varied caseload, including exotic species
The practice also treats a range of exotic patients, offering additional variety for those with an interest in exotics, although this is not essential for the role.
