    About This Role

    Location: Merseyside

    Salary: £44,000–£60,000 DOE

    Our client is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their well-established Tier 3 veterinary hospital in Merseyside.     The Role

    • Full or part-time position available

    • Flexible working options

    • 4-day working week

    • Weekend rota:

      • 1 in 8 Saturdays and Sundays, or

      • 2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday every 8 weeks

    • Some out-of-hours cover for annual leave and sickness

    The successful candidate will be confident in:

    • Routine consultations

    • Neutering and other routine surgical procedures

    • Sole charge branch work for approximately 50% of the role (or branch-only work with full hospital support if preferred)

    You'll work alongside an experienced veterinary team, including certificate holders in medicine, surgery, and diagnostic imaging, with excellent support available from an established referral service.

    Facilities

    The hospital is exceptionally well equipped, including:

    • Digital X-ray

    • Ultrasound

    • Endoscopy and dental radiography

    • CO₂ laser

    • Laparoscopic equipment

    • 64-slice CT scanner

    • 1.5T MRI scanner

    About You

    • RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon

    • Confident with routine consultations and surgery

    • Comfortable with sole charge when required

    • Committed to delivering outstanding patient and client care

    • Enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive team

    • Interested in developing clinical skills and managing cases to a high standard

    Salary & Benefits

    • Salary of £44,000–£60,000, depending on experience

    • 6.6 weeks' annual leave, including bank holidays
