    About This Role

    Location: Halesowen, West Midlands
    Salary: Up to £65,000 FTE, DOE
    Hours: Flexible, full or part-time
    Weekends: No weekends

    Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity

    Our client is looking for a positive, experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a growth mindset to join their standalone practice in Halesowen.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a vet with 2+ years' experience who is looking for a supportive environment, genuine clinical freedom and a great work-life balance.

    There is also the opportunity to progress into a Senior Vet role, supporting and mentoring more junior colleagues.

    The Role

    • Monday to Friday only

    • No weekend working

    • Flexible rota with part-time considered

    • Set weekday off each week

    • Early Friday finish 1 in 3

    • At least 1 operating day per week

    • 15-minute standard consultations, with 30-minute appointments where needed

    • Protected catch-up time throughout the day

    • Time allocated for notes and phone calls

    • No expectation to regularly stay late

    Clinical Development

    Our client is passionate about supporting their vets' career development and is happy to discuss and fund CPD and certificates.

    The practice has excellent facilities including:

    • Dental X-ray

    • Laparoscopy

    • Endoscopy

    • Kyon TPLO equipment

    • Harmonic scalpel

    • K-Laser

    They are also currently working towards becoming a Zero Pain accredited practice, so an interest in this area would be welcomed.

    About the Team

    You'll be joining an experienced and supportive clinical team, with practice owners who are both experienced surgeons, alongside a highly skilled nursing and support team.

    The practice sees a varied small animal caseload, predominantly cats and dogs, with a high proportion of insured clients.
