Lacey’s client, a well-established and busy small animal practice in Somerset, is seeking a skilled and personable Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and experienced team.

The practice is locally owned and forms part of a small group of sister surgeries within Somerset. The team is stable and supportive, with most colleagues having been in post for over five years.
You will be working alongside experienced vets and a dedicated nursing and client care team, including:
3 Registered Veterinary Nurses
1 Veterinary Care Assistant
2 Receptionists
The surgery itself is modern, bright and well-equipped, situated within a thriving retail environment. Facilities include:
3 consult rooms
Dedicated theatre
Separate cat and dog isolation wards
Designated colleague office and kitchen space
This is a varied GP role within a busy first-opinion setting, offering a broad caseload across small animal medicine and surgery.

The successful candidate will:
Be confident across routine small animal medicine and surgery
Be comfortable with sole charge one day per week and during weekends
Build strong, lasting client relationships
Thrive within a collaborative and supportive team
The position is full time, although part-time applications will be considered. The rota includes 1 in 4 weekends.
£40,000 – £65,000 DOE (FTE)
